Lion Dance Parade

The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New England and its sponsors will host Boston’s official Chinese New Year Lion Dance Parade this Sunday starting at Phillips Square. The program’s opening ceremony begins at the stage on Harrison Ave. near the Chinatown T Stop at 10am with festivities continuing throughout the afternoon. Don’t miss the dancers, music, street food and festivities at Chinatown’s biggest annual event!

The free event takes place Sunday evening from 6pm to 8:30pm and will feature community open mic poetry, a fireside chat with local influencers and artists, resources on the business of arts and self-publishing, and much more.

President’s Day Festival

The JFK Presidential Museum and Library will host its 13th annual President’s Day festival on Monday, from 11am to 4pm. Activities will be held in-person in Dorchester as well as virtually through online programming. The event will feature historical reenactments, storytelling, live musical performances and many more activities for all ages. The museum will also offer tours spotlighting President Kennedy’s time in the White House. The festival activities are free with paid admission, and children ages 17 and under are admitted free of charge on Festival Day.
