The news of the new baby girl giraffe calf born at the Franklin Park Zoo excited us all! Well, you’ll be able to see her and her mom this week at the Zoo! Exhibit hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for calf and mom, Amari.

Vote Early

The Municipal Election in the City of Boston takes place on Nov. 2 but you can vote early! The early voting period takes place Saturday, October 23, through Friday, October 29. During that time, voters registered in Boston will be able to cast their ballots in person before the Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 2. Here’s where you can vote early!  You’ll be voting for Mayor of Boston, City Councilor-At-Large and District Councilor.

Fall-O-Ween

The Boston Parks Department is hosting a special Fall-O-Ween Children’s Festival on Friday, October 22nd from 5pm-8pm at 38 Beacon Street in Beacon Hill. Test your skills and courage to find your way out of the Haunted Fun House Maze, hop on the train hosted and make your way over to our glow in the dark play space for some nighttime fun featuring LED illuminated swings, seesaws, and cornhole. Learn how to build spooky creatures with Lego Master Model Builder, Sean. Enjoy exciting acts from the Boston Circus Guild with performances by an aerial artist and stilt walker between 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. This FREE, family-friendly event will also include lots of spooky activities and giveaways for all ages. Don’t forget your costume!
