Reggae And Soca Oldies Party

Enjoy an unforgettable night of Caribbean classics at the Ultimate Reggae and Soca oldies party this Friday evening at Aspirers. DJs will be playing the top classics and bringing back the epic vibes from 10pm to 2am. Caribbean food will also be for sale. Tickets are $15 to $20 with additional VIP options available.

Wine Tasting

Each week you can experience something new at Boston Winery in Dorchester. Uncork something special as you swirl, sip and savor an exclusive wine-tasting by the scenic Boston Harbor. Tickets are $21 per person and include samples of five handmade wines, which rotate on a weekly basis. Tastings are available this Saturday from 1pm to 5:30pm and advance online reservations are mandatory.

Roslindale Holi Festival

Shanti Restaurant and Roslindale Village Main Street are bringing a festival of colors to Adams Park this Saturday from 2pm to 6pm. The exciting Holi Mela will offer a variety of activities to immerse yourself in the spirit of Holi, the festival of love and togetherness. Enjoy traditional Indian music, dance performances, food vendors and much more.

Saturday Morning Run

If the recent warmer weather has you excited for spring running, this weekend is a great time to join the Dorchester Running Club’s Saturday morning runs. The group meets every Saturday at 7am in front of Garvey Park on Neponset Avenue. Runners, walkers, dogs, kids, all paces and abilities are welcome – rain or shine!

CPR Certification

This event is perfect for older students who might be seeking summer employment opportunities, or anyone interested in learning basic life saving skills. This Saturday from 8:30am to 11:30am, participants can receive their certifications for CPR, AED and first aid. Courses are held at 413 Neponset Avenue in Dorchester. Costs vary based on the type of certification and advance registration is required.

Free Art Workshops

Join artist Olivia Huang at the Fields Corner Branch of the Boston Public Library to close out Women’s History Month through an art of creativity workshop. Whether it’s watercolor, painting, drawing, mixed media, or crafting, participants will have the chance to explore different mediums. The program takes place Saturday from 12pm to 1:30m and is open to all ages. All materials are provided.

Books & Beer

Remember how much you loved book fairs as a kid? Bookworm, a South Shore pop-up book shop, is bringing that experience back for adults. Stop by Dorchester Brewing Company on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm for the event. Grab a pint and explore the sale that will feature used books and other great items like bookmarks, stickers, pins, candles and more.

Easter Brunch and Bowl

Boston Bowl is hosting an Easter Brunch & Bowl on Sunday from 11am-2pm. Hop on over for an afternoon of bowling, delicious food and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself. Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.
