Celtics Victory Parade
The City of Boston will host a duck boat parade this Friday to celebrate the Celtics winning their 18th NBA Championship. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Causeway Street and then follow Staniford Street to Cambridge Street to Tremont Street to Boylston Street, before ending near the Hynes Convention Center. Those attending the parade are strongly encouraged to use public transportation. And don’t forget to hydrate and wear sunscreen!
Sagamore Street Block Party
Meet some of your Savin Hill neighbors this weekend at the 4th annual Sagamore Street Block Party, taking place Saturday from 12pm to 6pm. The event is free and open to the public. Food and drinks will be provided by individual households, and there will also be music, games, and plenty of fun.
Teen Night at BCYF Gallivan
This summer, the Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement is partnering with BCYF centers and community partners to host fun and free teen nights from 6 – 9 p.m. every Friday all summer long! “Boston After Dark” starts this Friday and runs through August 30. This week the event will take place in Mattapan at BCYF Gallivan from 6pm to 9pm. The initiative is a collaborative effort between OYEA, city departments and community organizations to activate safe and fun spaces and opportunities for teens this summer.

Puerto Rican Cultural Pageant
The Puerto Rican Festival of MA is hosting its Cultural Pageant Gala this weekend. Join in for a night of celebration at Florian Hall on Saturday from 5pm to 10pm. Get ready to experience the beauty and talent of contestants as they compete for the crown of the Puerto Rican Festival Queen. Guests will enjoy traditional dances and delicious Puerto Rican cuisine. Immerse yourself in Puerto Rico’s rich culture and heritage! Tickets are $30 per person.

Lesbian Tea Dance Returns to DBCo
LesbianNightLife is returning to take over Dorchester Brewing Company once a month, all summer long. This Sunday is the first Lesbian tea dance of the season from 4pm to 8pm on the rooftop of DBCo. The event is one of the largest LGBTQ Women, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Sunday Rooftop Mixer and Dance Parties. Dance through sunset and indulge in some of Boston’s best hand-crafted Beer, Cider, and Kombucha on tap. Tickets are $10 per person.
