B.O.L.D. Teens Present Movie Night
Kick off the weekend with a free outdoor Movie Night hosted by B.O.L.D. Teens on Friday, July 24th at 8pm at Dr. Loesch Family Park (20 Wainwright St, Dorchester). This week’s feature is GOAT, and the event is all ages, with free popcorn and snacks provided. Just bring a blanket or chair to sit on. $10 Friday Night Skate at Chez Vous
Lace up and head to Chez Vous Roller Skating Rink (11 Rhoades St, Dorchester) for their $10 Friday night skate. A neighborhood staple for generations, Chez Vous brings classic rink vibes, with great music and a crowd of skaters old and new. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just trying to stay upright, it’s a fun and affordable way to kick off the weekend.
Fit Fete on Malibu Beach
Get your heart rate up Saturday, July 25th from 10-11am with Fit Fete, a free, high-energy soca dance class by the water at Malibu Beach in Dorchester, hosted by Soca Fusion.
Weekend Nights at Blend
Blend (1310 Dorchester Ave) has a packed lineup all weekend. Friday starts at 8pm with RuPaul’s Drag Race Fridays (this week’s feature is “STOP! THAT! TRAIN!”), followed by Friday Feels at 10pm, a 21+ dance party with no cover. Saturday brings Mayhem Saturdays at 10 pm, also 21+ with no cover, spun by a DJ all night. Then wrap up the weekend with Wake Up and Get Down on Sunday from 11am-3pm, a disco brunch serving up “disco beats and delicious eats.” Reservations are recommended, so call ahead or book through their website.
Boston Little Saigon Block Party
On Sunday, June 26th from 11am-4pm, the Boston Little Saigon Block Party will take place at Dot Fun Day featuring cake decorating, BBQ, shopping and more! You can learn more here.
Dorchester Brewing Turns 10
Dorchester Brewing Co. is celebrating a decade in the neighborhood with an all-day 10 Year Anniversary Party on Saturday, July 25th from 11:30am-11pm. Expect a full day of festivities honoring 10 years of beer, community, and good times at 1250 Massachusetts Ave. While you’re there, check out the free, world-famous Museum of Bad Art housed right in the taproom.
Lazy Bear Creamery
Treat yourself! Stop by Lazy Bear Creamery (383 Neponset Ave, Dorchester, MA 02122), a local favorite known for creative flavors like the Chocolate Lazy Bar and The Marsh, loaded with rich brownie chunks.
Late Night at Landmark Public House
Craving a late-night bite this weekend? Landmark Public House in Adams Village (772 Adams St) serves up a late-night menu from 10pm-12am, alongside their full lineup of homestyle comfort food, South Shore bar pies, and craft cocktails. Housed in a space filled with vintage nods to old Dorchester and Boston sports history, it’s the perfect spot to end the night with friends. Open until 2am on weekends.

Stock Up at Codman Square Farmers Market
Saturday means fresh produce at the Codman Square Farmers Market, open every Saturday from 11am-2pm through October 17th at Codman Square Park (360 Talbot Avenue). Built around a mission of food justice for all, the market connects neighbors with local vendors, food demos, and food assistance resources. Stop by, shop local, and support the neighborhood’s food access efforts.
Caribbean Jerk Festival in Codman Square
The Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation is hosting its Caribbean Jerk Festival on Sunday, July 26th from 1-5pm at 44 Moultrie St, Dorchester. The family-friendly festival brings Caribbean food, live music, local vendors, and activities for kids and adults alike! Past years have featured jerk chicken, oxtail, plantains, vegetarian dishes, steel-drum music, lawn games, and vendor shopping. Admission is free. (Rain date: Sunday, August 2nd.)
