The Dudley Jazz Fest takes place this Saturday from 12pm to 6pm at the Mary Hannon Playground in Dorchester. The Mission of CCA is to provide exposure to creative music through free concerts, workshops and affordable private lessons. It is also CCA’s mission to provide performance opportunities for musicians deserving wider recognition.

Sand Sculpting

The Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival is a renowned annual event that transforms the shores of Revere Beach into an awe-inspiring boardwalk and open-air festival. Celebrating its 20th year in 2024, this festival gathers world-class sand sculptors who showcase their incredible talents to hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

Dorchester Brewing 8th Anniversary Party

Head to DBCo for their 8th anniversary bash celebrating all things Boston! There will be a Mass Hole Donuts Pop-Up, a caricature artist and live music featuring local artists. The first 100 guests get a free t-shirt.

Boston While Black Family Reunion at the Lawn on D

The BWB Family Reunion is back this summer at the Lawn on D! Take part in all the family: generations of Black Bostonians, city transplants, family, and friends for an unforgettable all-ages celebration, paying homage to the “good – ole days.” This year’s theme is “Back in the Day,” celebrating the Black culture, games, and community of the ‘80s, and ‘90s. The Lawn on D has curated a summer day that promises to be a crowd-pleaser for everyone. Plus our friend the Slushy Lady will be there! The fun takes place on Saturday from 12pm – 9pm!

Back for a new season: Codman Square Farmers Market

On Saturday, the first market of the season will take place in Codman Square!  Featuring fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs, and more, the Codman Square Farmers Market is a weekly event at Loesch Family Park from 11am-2pm.  In addition to produce, there are other vendors like Cles Cuddly Creations, Bling + Beauty, and Lisa Graustein Ceramics.  Plus, there will be live music, family fun, kids activities, and more! Pop Rock Karaoke

A neighborhood favorite, Pop Rock Karaoke takes place on Fridays at dbar with VJ Ryan Grow from 10pm-12pm.

Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market

Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market is back with over 50 vendors.  From gifts and apparel to packaged foods and beauty & skincare products. The market offers something for everyone as it raises awareness for and support of Black entrepreneurship.  Come support your local black-owned businesses! Takes place on Saturday July 21st from 12pm-6pm. You can learn more here.

Jamaica Plain Open Streets

Open Streets Boston is back for its third annual event, offering another chance to experience streets as public spaces. Discover the heartbeat of Jamaica Plain at Open Streets on Sunday, July 21. Located on Centre St. between Lamartine St. to South Street, this event invites you to immerse yourself in the community’s rich culture. Make your way along the route and explore a medley of local businesses, activity zones, live music, and food! Here you’ll find everything from face painting, yummy treats from local food vendors, interactive art and more!
