Ashmont Farmers Market
The Ashmont Farmers Market will be opening July 16th from 3pm to 7pm. “In 2020, over 500 people interacted with our market vendors each week with many more passers-by and we’re expecting even greater things in 2021.” The AFM holds a special place in the heart of our neighborhood by providing families access to fresh food from local vendors. Drag Brunch at Blend

Take an Island Adventure
Explore Lovells Island – this requires two boat rides – the ferry to Georges Island plus a short (and free) boat ride to Lovells. Walk the slightly spooky island (very much MidSommar vibes) and check out the ruins of an old military fort, great views of the city and you’ll be out in the fresh air! Summer Fridays
First Parish Dorchester is presenting a free weekly summertime celebration of community + culture on Fridays from 6pm-9pm – June 11 – September 10. Expect picnicking, kids activities and live music! This week’s musical guest is jazz vocalist Gordan Michaels!
Lionheart Confections at Reign Drink Lab
On Saturday and Sunday starting at 9am, Lionheart Confections will be selling their delicious doughnuts until they sell out at Reign Drink Lab! Get ’em before they’re gone! No pre-order necessary, just show up and grab your doughnuts along with an iced coffee or two! Doughnuts are limited to a dozen per guest.

Dock + Dine
If you’re lucky enough to have a boat – or a friend with a boat – head to Venezia for some delicious Italian food to go via their dock. Order via their website and pick up via their dock! Pasta always tastes better on a boat!
