Moms Night Out: Yoga + Watercolor at The Local Hand

Join The Local Hand on Friday, January 9th, for a relaxing night of restorative yoga, watercolor painting, good conversation, and more. First, you will lead us through a restorative yoga flow to help us feel grounded and energized.  Then, you will participate in a relaxing watercolor activity, using geometric patterns to show you how to enjoy the meditative qualities of painting. Apres Ski at Dorchester Brewing

Kick off January the right way at our Après Ski Party THIS Saturday, January 10th from 4–8PM ❄️🍻 Think of this as the ultimate day drink + pregame—no lift ticket required. We’ll have DJ Conor John and Andski spinning feel-good vibes, a full-on pig roast and smoky BBQ fired up, and a stacked lineup of craft beer, NA beer, mocktails, cocktails, wine seltzers, and more. To sweeten things up, Jacked Up Snacks will be popping up with specialty winter cookies, perfect for pairing with your après beverages. Après ski attire is encouraged but not required—rock your coziest layers, retro ski fits, or just roll in as you are. Grab a drink, dig into the pig roast and treat yourself to something sweet!

For the month of January, DJ’s European Market will only be making Pączki on Saturdays. What are Pączki? They are Polish donuts and you can choose from Raspberry, Plum Butter, Rose, and Lemon. You can also get them filled with Raspberry Buttercream, Coffee Mocha Buttercream, Nutella Buttercream, or Maple Bacon Buttercream! 

Dry January?

If you’re looking to start the New Year by cutting back or eliminating alcohol, going out might feel daunting. But fear not! Many of our favorite Dot spots have N/A or low-ABV options available, including Yellow Door’s mocktails:  Mango Vibes Only, mango, spiced pineapple cordial, pepita orgeat, lime, or Stitzer’s Paloma, house rosemary syrup, fresh grapefruit and lime juices, and soda.

Let’s get cozy

The Bowery Bar has announced that the adorable outdoor winter village on their patio is back for another season, starting Thursday, November 6th.  Get cozy inside one of their three yurts – complete with outdoor heaters, blankets, and furry seats on both low-top and high-top seating! Bookings are now live on their website!  Each yurt holds about eight people and is available for lunch, brunch and dinner!
