Bar Halloween Parties
Many of our favorite Dot haunts are getting in the spirit all weekend long. The Dot Tavern will have live music, raffles and giveaways Friday and Saturday evening. The Harp + Bard’s annual costume contest takes place Saturday evening with prizes and promos all night long. The Bowery is celebrating with a frightfully good brunch on Sunday from 10am to 3pm.
Dragtacular Britney Brunch
Commemorate the queen of pop and the release of her new autobiography with a Britney-themed drag show at Laugh Boston on Saturday at 12pm. General admission tickets are $35 and come with a complimentary mimosa.
Spooktacular Dance Soiree
Get your bones moving at Luna Fitness this Saturday from 7pm to 1am with a night of spine-tingling dance moves, prizes and plenty of surprises! Costumes are encouraged and all levels are welcome.
Doggie Costume Contests
Don’t let your four-legged friends miss out on all the fun this weekend. There are several dog-friendly Halloween events and costume contests taking place across town including Saturday from 11am to 1pm at South Boston’s Bark Park, from 12pm to 3pm in Downtown Crossing and from 12pm to 2pm in Jamaica Plain.
Crawl-O-Ween Bar Crawl
What better way to show off your carefully curated costume than to crawl through more than 50 of Boston’s biggest and most historic bars? Boston’s original Halloween bar crawl is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and promises to be bigger than ever. Tickets range from $30 to $80. Catch all the fun on Saturday from 12pm to 9pm.
Halloween Fest at the LOT
Make your way up Dot Ave. on Saturday to check out the LOT’s family-friendly Halloween event from 4pm to 9pm. The free event includes pumpkin carving and other themed activities, adult beverage options, as well as refreshments from Cannonball Cafe’s Cantina and various food trucks.
Zoo Howl
Halloween comes to Franklin Park Zoo this Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm with something for kids of all ages. You won’t want to miss the howling contest, tasty fall treats and animal enrichment activities. It’s also your last chance to see the Boston Lights display at the zoo! Guests have a chance for special character meet-and-greets and a live LED dance performance.
PruBoo
Kids and families are invited to a day of Spooktacular fun at the return of Boston’s annual PruBoo event at the Prudential Center on Sunday from 11am to 1pm. The free event includes trick-or-treating at stores, face painting, pumpkin decorating, magic shows and live music.
