BCC Open Rehearsals
Boston Children’s Chorus (BCC) is hosting open rehearsals in Dorchester this Saturday, February 8 at First Parish Church from 10:15am-11:30am. Open to students in grades 6-8, this is a great opportunity for those who are interested in experiencing a BCC rehearsal, meeting singers and staff, and exploring the rehearsal space. Students and families will get to experience the dynamic environment that has shaped young artists, building confidence, artistry, and empathy. In the midst of their 22nd season, which explores the theme “People, Get Ready,” inspired by civil rights leaders Malcom X and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., this rehearsal will showcase how BCC engages with its young singers through Boston’s history of civic engagement, helping students grow their voice as singers and future leaders in social change.
