Ranger-Led Hike

Join Boston Park Rangers and staff for a hike and informational discussion about the great outdoors. This Saturday’s hike will explore Dorchester’s Franklin Park starting at 11am. Be sure to dress properly for the weather and for taking on unpaved paths.

Milton First Fridays

Head over to the Milton Art Center Friday from 6pm-9pm for live music, libations, friends and fun. This weekend’s free event will feature a holiday twist with sing-alongs and special festive performances.

Comedy Night at the Blarney Stone

Some of Boston’s best underground comedians will take the stage for a fun performance this Friday at 8pm. The free show is first come, first served with seating starting at 7:30pm.

Brunch in a Yurt

The weather is getting frightful, but the cocktails, food and fun at the Bowery are so delightful. Cozy up with your favorite friends and enjoy brunch in your own outdoor private yurt. Reservations are required.

Renaissance at Coolidge Corner

Beyoncé fans can experience the journey of the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR as the film debuts this weekend at the Coolidge Corner theater. Tickets are $22 and there are two showtimes per day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Enchanted Trolley Tour 

Mayor Michelle Wu is helping kick off the holiday season in neighborhoods throughout Boston. Don’t miss Santa and friends aboard a fun enchanted trolley as it makes its way to Dorchester on Sunday, with stops at Codman Square at 12pm and Adams Corner at 1pm.

Movement Market

Join friends for a celebration of movement of the body, mind and soul on Sunday starting at 10:30am at the Polish American Club in Southie. Your ticket includes three workout classes including pilates, dance and yoga, as well as drink tickets, raffle prizes and special discounts on products at the market. 

Sip and Shop

What’s better than a day of pizza, pasta and paninis? A bit of holiday shopping to boot. Tavolo’s annual holiday sip and shop will return this Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. Stop in for shopping, cocktails and holiday fun with over 20 local vendors.

Midway Cafe Open Mic

Head over to Jamaica Plain for a little variety to close out your weekend. Sit back and enjoy or sign up and show everyone what you’ve got – from storytelling to jokes to music and more. Don’t miss open mic night at Midway Cafe Sunday at 9pm.
