Neponset Day 2024

Neponset Day is Dorchester’s annual free, family-friendly, public celebration of the Neponset River, its parks, and wildlife, held along the River and the Greenway Trail in Dorchester. The event will take place Saturday from 9am to 1pm and will include free kayaking on the river, a spray deck, environmental and science exhibit, food trucks, ice cream, kid’s games and activities, and much more.

Boston’s Best Cook-Off

Join in as some of Boston’s best chefs and bakers have a cook and bake off. The party is back by popular demand at Aspires in Dorchester on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm. Stop by and taste for yourself how good some of Boston’s Chefs and Bakers’ food and treats are. Admission gets you samples of their food and treats, and items will be sold as well. Boyce of Papa Bees and Ms. Stefany Boston will be this year’s Judges.

Dine Out Boston® is back for its summer edition

This two-week culinary celebration, with more than 175 participating restaurants, provides diners an opportunity to enjoy delicious deals at restaurants across Greater Boston and restaurateurs the chance to bring in new patrons to their establishments from August 4-17, 2024. Participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner, with many offering takeout and delivery options as well. Restaurants select one of three price points and customize their lunch and dinner menus: lunch at $22, $27, $32 or $36 and dinner at $36, $41, $46, or $55. Restaurants can offer as many courses as they desire at their selected price. On August 4th at 11:00 am, Alamo Drafthouse invites guests to join them for a special movie-watch party.
