Be on the lookout for parking restriction signs in the Adams Village neighborhood starting Wednesday through Friday. According to the Dorchester Reporter, HBO will be in town shooting for the second season of Julia.
The series is about legendary celebrity chef Julia Childs and has been filming all over the Greater Boston area. Last year crews were in Adams Village shooting scenes for season one and we heard the crew bought lots of cookies from Top Shelf Cookies and plenty of coffee from PS Gourmet! We like to see the support of our small businesses!
The show stars Sarah Lancashire (“Happy Valley”) as Child and David Hyde Pierce (“Frasier”) as her husband, Paul. The cast will be rounded out by Brittany Bradford (“Bernhardt/Hamlet”), Fran Kranz (“Homecoming”), Fiona Glascott (“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”), Bebe Neuwirth (“Madam Secretary”), Isabella Rossellini (“Silent Retreat”), and Jefferson Mays (“I Am the Night”).
