At about 8:32 PM on Sunday May 7, 2023, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 66 Wildwood Street in Mattapan. On arrival, officers located two adult male victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to local area hospitals, where one victim later succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased, while the second victim continues to receive care for injuries that are life-threatening in nature.
