Investigation Update: At about 11:10 PM on Sunday, July 28, 2019, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to an outside scene for two people shot in the area of 169 Columbia Road in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim, who has since been identified as Christian Nunes, 20, of Dorchester, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene while the second victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
