Another update:
Universal Hub is reporting that Nikia Rivera, 45, will remain committed to a state facility in Worcester. A Dorchester judge ruled she is not competent to face proceedings in the case against her for allegedly trying to burn down a Mora Street three-decker.
She will return to Dorchester court on February 14th.
UPDATE:
Just hours after several people were rescued from a 2-alarm fire on Mora Street on Tuesday, a woman was arrested on an arson charge.
According to NBC10Boston, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office said that 45-year-old Nikia Rivera had been charged in Boston Municipal Court with arson of a dwelling.
Rivera told the police, “The devil made me do it, there are ghosts in my house.”
A judge ordered that Rivera be evaluated at Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital before returning to court on January 13.

BFD responded to a call for a fire at 74 Mora Street around 12pm on Tuesday. All three stories of this wood frame home had fire showing. Several residents had to be rescued. The fire was quickly knocked down, and residents were being checked out by Boston EMS.
Fire companies are still on scene working on hot spots.
