UPDATE: Murder Suspect Arrested in Connection to Fatal Shooting from February 5, 2020 in Dorchester: After a thorough and comprehensive investigation, BPD Homicide Detectives and members of the Fugitive Apprehension Unit located and arrested Jose Carrucini, 20, of Dorchester on Saturday, May 23, 2020 and charged him with Murder. Carrucini is scheduled to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on Monday, May 26, 2020.
The original facts and circumstances surrounding the incident are as follows:
At about 6:28pm, on Wednesday February 5, 2020, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 149 Magnolia Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering life threatening injuries, was transported to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as Admilson Ribiero, 21, of Dorchester.
The Boston Police Department continues to review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and is asking anyone with information relative to this investigation to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
