Update:
According to BPD, it was a kindergarten student that brought the gun to school. The Herald is reporting that the gun was a BB gun.

The Boston Herald is reporting that BPD has responded to a call for a report of a gun at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School on Lawerence Ave. in Grove Hall. The call came in at 8:47am.
No injuries or arrests have been reported. The King School is Kindergarten through 6th grade. You can read more here.
