WCVB reports that two people were injured in a shooting at the intersection of Helen Street and Talbot Ave. near the Lee School on Monday afternoon. BPD responded to a call for shots fired around 3pm.
The two shooting victims were transported to an area hospital. Boston Public Schools said the Lee School went into “safe mode,” which was lifted around 4:15 p.m.
This is an active investigation.
