The choices for eating and drinking at the South Bay Mall are expanding this week! Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is featuring a soft opening this week and 110 Grill will open on Thursday, July 25.

Gyu-Kaku is known for its Japanese barbecue format where guests cook their own meats (beef, chicken, seafood) on a central grill. Gyu-Kaku’s menu also features salads, soups, noodles, rice dishes, and appetizers. For those with a heartier appetite, there’s also an all-you-can-eat menu too. Also on the menu is sake, beer, wine and cocktails.  You can check out the full menu here.

110 Grill will open at 1 District Ave. and will be this restaurant group’s 24th location. The 5800 square foot restaurant has seating for 180 with a menu that features Chorizo Totchos, Cajun Yellowfun Tuna, Short Rib Flatbread and their signature Beyond Burger.  You can check out their full menu here.

Editor’s note:

Why do the businesses at South Bay have a hard time differentiating between Dorchester and South Boston? Gyu-Kaku has the address as a Dorchester address but has it listed in the neighborhood as South Boston on the website.  Remember when Nike opened?
