NBC10 Boston is reporting that two men were assaulted on Monday around 12pm just outside Shawmut Station.
The men, ages 69 and 47, reported to transit police officers that they were surrounded by a group of teenagers who pulled out a knife and demanded money.
When the victims refused, both men were punched in their heads. Boston EMS treated the victims on scene.
No other information was immediately available, including any information on possible suspects or arrests. It is still an active investigation.
