On Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at approximately 11:04PM, officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston), responded to the area of Boston Street and Howell Street for an Armed Robbery. The suspects approached the victim, hitting him in the face with a weapon in hand while rummaging through his pockets and fleeing the scene with his property.
The suspects were described as two males approximately 13-15 years old wearing grey hooded sweatshirts. Responding officers observed two juveniles exiting the Dunkin’ Donuts located at 256 Boston Street.
Officers stopped the first juvenile and performed a pat frisk immediately recovering what appeared to be a firearm from his jacket. Recovered from the second juvenile was a large sum of cash, a gift card and a cell phone, all belonging to the victim.
The suspects were positively identified, arrested and charged with Delinquent to wit: Armed Robbery and Delinquent to wit: Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. Both are expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.
