On Tuesday, the Zoning Board of Appeals rejected a proposal for a Dollar Tree at 493 Washington St. in Codman Square.
According to Universal Hub, the mayor’s office and City Councilor Andrea Campbell’s office stated voiced opposition to the Dollar Tree stating it would cause traffic and there’s another Dollar Tree right down the street on Talbot Ave.
The board unanimously rejected the proposal “without prejudice.” What exactly does that mean? Well, it means the owner of the vacant building can come back in a year with another proposal.
So we shall see.
