Boston police are investigation a shooting that happened overnight in Dorchester that left one person dead and two others injured.
According to NBC10 Boston, BPD was called for shots fired around 12:30am on Thursday morning on Astoria Street. Multiple shell casings were found. A second call was received for shots fired on Dyer Street. Officers found two people in a car with gun shot wounds. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was transported to an area hospital. A third victim took themselves to the hospital.
This is an active investigation.
