In local brewery news….
Thanks to updates and changes in the State’s guidelines when it comes to restaurants, this local taproom is shutdown for now.
According to a Boston Restaurant, Trillium Fenway will be “pausing” outdoor seating and draft service due to Gov. Baker’s announcement last Friday. Basically, the State is cracking down on bars/breweries “masquerading” as a restaurant. Technically, a “restaurant” is defined as a place that has seated food service where the food is prepared on-site. The “restaurant” a must have a retail food permit issued by the city. So no serving just pretzels and chips. Trillium Brewing in Fenway was hoping that Time Out Market – located right next door – could run food to our tables. Nice try, but the State says, “No.”
Trillium Fenway’s location will still be open for retail service for packaged beer-to-go. You’re encouraged to order online.
