The Boston Firefighters 10K Road Race is an annual event that brings together participants from all walks of life to celebrate fitness, camaraderie, and support for the brave men and women of the Boston Fire Department. Held against the backdrop of the historic city, this race offers a scenic and challenging course that winds through Dorchester.  This event takes place on Sunday, October 13th at 9am at Florian Hall. DCR Road Closure Advisory:

On Sunday, October 13, 2024, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will close Morrissey Boulevard (northbound) from Neponset Circle to UMass Boston in the City of Boston from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to accommodate the Boston Firefighters Local 718 10K Memorial Road Race.  Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and a police detail will be on site.

WHEN:  Sunday, October 13, 2024  – 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
