Dorchester is about to get a little sweeter! Sweet Teez Bakery, known for its decadent cupcakes, custom cakes, brownies and pies, is officially moving into the ground level of Dot Block.
This milestone marks a sweet new chapter for owner and CEO Teresa Maynard, who founded the bakery in 2016 to create peanut-free treats for everyone to enjoy.
“I look forward to opening our flagship bakery at Dot Block in the community where I was raised and where I am raising my family alongside my husband Kelvin (COO),” Teresa shared. “I hope that the bakery can be a space for community members to gather, and to feel inspired and emboldened to pursue their own dreams.”
For the past eight years, Sweet Teez has operated out of @commonwealthkitchenboston, a non-profit food business incubator, cranking out thousands of cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and pies for customers, wholesale partners, and corporate accounts. Now, with their very own storefront, Sweetz Bakery is bringing the love (and sugar) to Dorchester.
Sweet Teez Bakery hopes to open its doors by fall of 2025 – something to look forward to!
