Julius Hammond-Desir, who is suspected of shooting and killing 26-year-old Dijoun Beasley while he shopped at the mall last month, was arrested in Dorchester on Wednesday by members of the Braintree, Boston and Massachusetts State Police.

Hammond-Desir was arraigned in Quincy District Court. WCVB reported that Beasley and Hammond-Desir did not know each other, and the shooting happened after one man looked at the other wrong and the men exchanged words.

The victim who was with his girlfriend and her 3-year-old child in a stroller was shot in the head.

Hammond-Desir was ordered held without bail and is due back in court on March 15th.
