State officials rolled out a four phase plan of what our COVID-19 life will look like on Monday, May 18th. The phases are called – Start, Cautious, Vigilant and The New Normal. Each phase will last a minimum of three weeks and will be closely monitored (i.e. COVID-19 case numbers) before entering next phase.
Manufacturing and construction will start operating effective immediately. For Phase 1 – which kicks off May 25th, includes the following businesses: retail (curbside pickup), carwashes, hair salons, barbershops, libraries, pet grooming, and a few more. You can see the phases and businesses here. Places of worship will also reopen on May 18th
All businesses (and places of worship) must follow safety guidelines including social distancing, hygiene protocols, cleaning and disinfection, plus staffing and operations guidelines.
