On Sunday evening after a protest downtown turned violent, several shops and storefronts were vandalized and looted from Cambridge to Dorchester. Spokehouse/Bowdoin Bike School was one of those businesses affected.
After being closed for several months due to COVID-19, it was even more a letdown for owner, Noah FreeMan, to discover his small business vandalized and robbed.
But wait….this discouraging story has a happy ending! When the community heard the news of the bike shop, they rallied together and raised $10,000 to help Noah! And in the spirit of paying it forward, Noah is donating have to good cause!

Pure Oasis in Dorchester was also looted early Monday morning.
