Small Business Spotlight: Espresso East – A Fun Addition to the Neighborhood
Tucked into a little yellow trailer in Dorchester, Espresso East is serving up creative matchas, coffees, refreshers, and more.
We recently stopped by and chatted with owners Najma and Naima, two sisters who started Espresso East focused on quality drinks, sustainability, supporting other small businesses, and creating a welcoming space for the Dorchester community.
The sisters take their ingredients seriously, too. They source their matcha directly from a small farmer in Japan whom they met while visiting. The menu rotates with the seasons, mixing classics with fun and unique flavors, so there’s always something new to try.
Espresso East also has a great outdoor seating area with counter seating and a rooftop spot overlooking the park. It’s a perfect place to grab a drink, get a little work done, or just hang out.
