Boston police are investigating a shooting that happened around 6:30pm on Wednesday, May 1st. 4 men in their 30’s were sitting in a car on Windermere Road when someone open fired. 3 were injured and one victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Boston Police Commissioner William Gross said the shooting did not appear to be random. BPD is searching the neighborhood for surveillance video or possible eye witnesses. Anyone with any information was urged to contact Boston Police at at 800-494-TIPS or text TIP to CRIME (27463).
The scene of the crime is located near St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children.
