Taking the Red Line to work is daunting enough. But on Wednesday morning, it was downright dangerous! Three windows on a Red Line car shattered and smoke filled Andrew Station as the train approached from JFK/UMass thanks to a motor failure.
According to the Boston Globe, one passenger described the train ride as “bucking” off the tracks. Yikes.
No injuries were reported although the incident did cause server delays. Shuttle buses replaced trains between JFK and Broadway Station.
Be safe out there!
