The annual Pride parade will return to the streets of Boston on Saturday, June 8, but that’s not all that’s planned! Dorchester is gearing up for Pride Month with a vibrant array of events and activities designed to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community. Below is your guide to Pride events in and around Dorchester. Check back as this list may be updated!
Pride Kick-Off Party | Saturday, June 1 | 11:30 AM – 11:00 PM | Dorchester Brewing Company, 1250 Massachusetts Ave. | Free to attend | Kick off Pride Month at the Dorchester brewery with a Donut King pop-up, a Bookworm pop-up and a book signing with Riley Adaris. Portion of the day’s taproom sales will be donated to BAGLY.
Backyahd Benefit Classes on June 8th to benefit Bagly, a youth-led, adult-supported organization committed to social justice, and creating, sustaining and advocating for programs, policies and services for the LGBTQ+ youth community. You can learn more here!
Pride Yoga at Burro Bar South End | Saturday, June 1 | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Burro Bar South End, 1357 Washington Street, Boston | $22.00 | Join Burro Bar for a 45 minute-long, all-level vinyasa flow yoga class centering around self-affirmation, dignity, equality + peace, and stay after for a complimentary Partida cocktail or a mocktail with your fellow yogis! The class is taught by Courtney Marino (@courtlovesyoga), a Registered Yoga Teacher.
Flight Club – Pride Cocktail & Rainbow Cake (benefitting BAGLY) The Pride Cocktail, crafted with Empress Gin, Ketel One Grapefruit, rose, hibiscus, lemon, egg white, and edible glitter is available with three different topper designs. Complementing the colorful cocktail, the vibrant Rainbow Cake is layered with joy and topped with creamy vanilla icing and rainbow sprinkles. To further support the community during Pride Month, Flight Club is committed to donating 100% of the proceeds from each menu item to benefit Bagly.

Pride Polar Plunge at Body + Fuel – a fundraiser for Verna Felton will take place on Saturday, June 22nd from 11:30am-1pm featuring breath work for athletes, guided ice baths and more! You can learn more here!
Pride Celebrations at dbar! dbar will be celebrating Pride all month long kicking off with Show Tune Pride on Tuesday, June 4th, then the annual Stoplight Party 🚦 on Friday, June 7th, Slay Saturday on June 8th, and Pride Tea this Sunday June 9th at 4pm.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Proud Bluebikes | June 1-June 30 | Boston | In celebration of Pride Month this June, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (“Blue Cross”) is launching 100 rainbow-themed Bluebikes into Greater Boston’s bikeshare system to help drive awareness for LGBTQIA+ equality. The “Proud Bikes,” available in both pedal and ebike formats, will be accessible throughout the system’s 13 municipalities and will be showcased in the Boston Pride Parade on Saturday, June 8.
