Boston Fire Department responded to a call at 10:12am on Monday at 208 Columbia Road in Dot for a partial building collapse. This is an unoccupied 1-story building at the corner of Stanwood St. No injuries were reported. City of Boston Inspectional Services was called and buildings attached at 212 and 218 Columbia were evacuated as a safety precaution.
Inspectional Services is on scene investigating. National Grid is also on scene. As of 1pm, Boston police were directing trip and Columbia Road has been reduced to one lane. Avoid area – unless you like traffic.
