At about 3:45 PM, on Monday, August 05, 2019, officers assigned to the Boston Police Special Investigation Unit, along with DEA Task Force and Postal Inspectors arrested Andrew Carter, 31, of West Plains, MO in the area of 7 Allstate Road (South Bay Mall)
After an ongoing investigation, officers recovered a loaded P. Beretta 9MM with 15 rounds in a high capacity magazine, 2 additional high capacity magazines both of which were loaded with 17 rounds each. Officers additionally recovered a clear plastic bag containing a crystal rock like substance believed to be Methamphetamine.
Andrew Carter was charged with; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a High Capacity Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Possession of Class B, Drugs (Methamphetamine).
Andrew Carter will be arraigned in South Boston District Court.
