Everyone deserves the opportunity to be part of a story

The Henderson Inclusion Upper School has recently partnered with On the Same Page – a book access advocacy campaign for Boston Public Schools run by Emerson College students!  This is amazing news for the students, faculty, teachers, and families! And you can be a part of it!

According to a recent article in the Boston Globe, over the last four years, Emerson College students have collected 6,000 books for BPS students! This year the organization will be partnering with Henderson Upper School in Dorchester on a curated wish list.

For the first year, BPS chose the recipient school – which it considers an “innovation school” that serves around 850 students. The Henderson was BPS’ first fully inclusive K-12 school.

This annual campaign aims to increase access to age-appropriate books and diverse content. You can help out both On the Same Page and the students at the Henderson Upper School by buying books from their Amazon wishlist and having them sent directly to the school!

Happy Reading!
