From BPD News:

About 1:54am on Saturday, December 19, 2020, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person with a gun at 13 Fermoy Heights Avenue, Dorchester.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with two victims who stated that they observed a blue SUV parked in their parking spot, and as they attempted to speak with the occupants the SUV pulled away and parked further down the street. As the victims walked back to their residence, the individuals from the SUV began yelling at them, and one of the passengers raised his arm holding what appeared to be a silver revolver. The victims were able to give the officers a description of the motor vehicle, its license plate, and its occupants, which was broadcasted for other area officers.

As officers were traveling on American Legion Highway, they observed the vehicle described above, travel past them towards Blue Hill Avenue. The officers activated their lights and sirens and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of American Legion Highway and Kingbird Road. As the officers approached, they observed that the operator and front passenger matched the descriptions given by the victims, however they were unable to see the rear passengers due to the vehicle’s windows being foggy.

An exit order was issued to all passengers. Officers observed that the rear passenger who was seated behind the passenger seat fit the victim’s description of the suspect. Further investigation revealed a silver revolver underneath the front passenger seat. The firearm, a Colt .38 Special was loaded with (4) live rounds in the chamber.

Following a positive identification, Ezekiel Tejada, 22 years old of Dorchester, was placed under arrest and charged with Carrying a Firearm without a License, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Possession of Ammunition without FID Card, and Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon.

The suspect is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
