culturally curated, radically influenced, and locally inspired
A new bookstore, justBook-ish, is now open in the Fields Corner neighborhood! It is located on the ground floor of a new apartment building at 1463 Dorchester Ave called Dot Crossing Apartments.
Last week, they posted the following Grand Opening Ceremony Announcement, which will take place on Saturday, November 23rd at 11am.
According to the Boston Globe, the founders Porsha Olayiwola, poet laureate of Boston, and Bing Broderick envision a shop that is “culturally curated, radically influenced, and locally inspired.” The 1,300-square-foot space will feature a collection of adult and children’s literature with some selections from local writers, plus a lineup of special programming, including book clubs, teen nights, kids’ story hours, and more! There are also plans to have a bar selling coffee, beer, wine, and smoothies. You can read more details about this exciting new business here!
