Let there be light – fingers crossed
Universal Hub is reporting that Dorchester’s Ronan Park could be getting new lights installed this spring/summer.
The park has been in the dark since a light pole was blown over onto the basketball court during a windstorm last fall. Boston Parks and Recreations crews dismantled the rest of the lights as a safety measure. Boston Parks has new light replacements out to bid and hopes a contractor will be selected soon and new lights will be installed. Well, that’s great news!
In other Ronan Park news, a historic well was discovered earlier this year!
