Local writer Emily Sweeney shared with us this gem of a tale from the street of Dorchester in 1905.

Evidently, 34-year-old John Murray made the local paper again for taking his clothes off and roaming the streets. After finding clothes left on the shore of the Mill Pond, local police thought they were investigating a drowning mystery. The man was later found naked on Center Street, near Adams Street, early in the morning, with a bottle of whiskey in his hand. He was promptly arrested.
