UPDATE: Murder Suspect Arrested in Connection to Fatal Stabbing from July 3, 2020 in Dorchester:  After a thorough and comprehensive investigation, BPD Homicide Detectives, members of the Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the Long Beach Police Department, CA., located and arrested Anthony Nicholes, 50, of Dorchester on Friday, July 24, 2020 and charged him with Murder.

The original facts and circumstances surrounding the incident are as follows:

At about 11:03 PM on Friday, July 3, 2020, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 205 Adams Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The victim has since been identified as Onell Colon, 36, of Dorchester.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and is asking anyone with information relative to this investigation to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
