“Whether your trips are made on foot, by bike, by car, or on a bus, we want to hear from you.” -City of Boston
The City of Boston wants to hear from you about your suggestions, thoughts, ideas and feedback when it comes to the redesign of Blue Hill Ave. This is an important piece of the city’s mobility network as well as the cornerstone of neighborhood vitality for parts of Roxbury, Dorchester, and Mattapan. So let your voice be heard!
The redesign will focus on three areas: transportation (bus service in particular), safety, and public space. The #28 bus that runs along Blue Hill Ave. for three miles will be part of the discussion. Trivia: Did you know the #28 is most heavily ridden MBTA bus in Boston?
Part of the redesign also includes improvements to sidewalks, potential bike lanes, playgrounds, benches, and plazas.
By filling out this survey, you help the city get a deeper sense of both the strengths and shortcomings of Blue Hill Avenue with respect to mobility, public space, and safety. You can fill out the survey here!
