Clang, clang, clang goes the trolley
3 days, 9 stops, 40 small businesses and volunteers celebrated. Mayor Martin J. Walsh is returning for the “Mayor on Main” trolley tour, a three-day event that will highlight Boston’s Main Streets districts. The Mayor on Main Tour will visit Boston Main Streets districts to present the 23rd Annual Boston Main Streets Awards. The awards recognize an outstanding business owner and volunteer from each district. On Monday, July 29th, the mayor will make the following stops:
2:30 p.m. – Araujo Laundromat, Upham’s Corner Main Streets
Also honoring Empire Fashion, Bowdoin-Geneva Main Streets
3:30 p.m. – One United Bank, Greater Grove Hall Main Streets
Also honoring TCB, The Cooperative Bank, West Roxbury Main Streets
4:30 p.m. – SnapChef, Four Corners Main Streets
Also honoring CoCo Leaf Dessert Cafe, Fields Corner Main Streets, and Tasha Michelle Kloset, Greater Ashmont Main Streets
