According to the BPD, a man was shot while sitting in his car on Wayland Street around 5am on Friday.
The incident occurred at 42 Wayland St. and the 28 year old man was taken to Boston Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
Police Commissioner William B. Evans said he believes the victim was targeted.
