A man was shot around 4:30pm Monday on Centre Street. The male victim was reportedly shot in the face and ran to Whitten Street where he collapsed. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The two suspects fled the scene on a scooter before crashing it, and then taking off on foot. BPD chased them and promptly arrested both suspects.
Kevin Woods, 19, of Boston and a 17-year-old juvenile male also from Boston will be charged with assault with intent to murder. They will be arraigned Tuesday in Dorchester District Court.
