From BPD News:
At about 1:55 PM on Sunday, February 23, 2020, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person with a gun in the area of 62 Burt Street in Dorchester.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that the suspect, later identified as David Abrain, 47, of Dorchester, was carrying a green bag and wearing a grey sweatshirt with jeans.
Moments later, additional responding units observed Abrain in the area of Ashmont Street and Ocean Street. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt, jeans and holding a green bag. Officers recovered a loaded .40 caliber firearm from the front of Abrain’s waist band.
Abrain was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession Ammunition and Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
