A new burger and shake spot is opening in the old Venice Pizza spot on Savin Hill Ave. and it was recently painted a very cheerful yellow.

Amid the global pandemic in mid-2020, Yeanie and Phi opened two restaurants to address the lack of Vietnamese cultural representation in Boston. Despite the uncertainty, their passion and confidence helped introduce innovative takes on Vietnamese and French cuisine, blending traditional and modern techniques. Since then, KOLO Restaurant Group has grown, launching diverse concepts like Banh Mi Oi, Phinista Cafe, Green Haus Cafe, and Say Coffee Co., enriching communities in Cambridge, Mission Hill, Fenway, Downtown Boston, West Roxbury, Waltham, and Foxborough. Now, they’re excited to bring a new concept to Dorchester, a neighborhood they’ve supported through pop-ups and volunteering for over a decade.
