Little Miss Dorchester Contest Returns Returns in Celebration of Dot Day
Calling all future parade stars! The Little Miss & Young Miss Dorchester Contest is back as part of the beloved Dorchester Day Parade festivities—and it’s always a feel-good neighborhood favorite.
The contest takes place on Saturday, May 16th at 2PM at Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy Columbia Road Campus, with both age groups participating in one special event and winners announced at the end.
Here’s the deal:
- Little Miss: ages 7–9
- Young Miss: ages 10–12
- Must be Dorchester residents
- Must be able to participate in the parade on June 7th
Contestants will also answer a question (and recite it live), and finalists should be ready to provide a birth certificate if selected.
Applications are due by Friday, May 8th, and yes—don’t forget to include a photo! You can find the rules and application here.
