A Go Fund Me page has been started to help the family of 14 displaced by a 5-alarm fire on Allston Street on Saturday night. From the page:
As many of us prepare for an amazing and eventful new year, a very dear family has experienced sheer devastation. An extended family of 14 and their 2 dogs occupied a triple decker in Dorchester that is now gone. Thankfully, no lives were lost – but everything else was. We ask (only if you can) that you join us as we prepare to help this amazing family rebuild their lives. Anything you can give will help. There is no such thing as too little when it comes to help. If sharing this page is all you can do, that act is kind and profoundly appreciated!! Blessings to you all!
Gift cards and toiletries are also being collected and can be dropped off at the Epiphany School near the Shawmut stop on the Red Line.
Thank you!
